Welcome to the redesign, which

Welcome to the redesign, which is a variation on the old motif. As with the last design, I am striving to make the design as simple as possible - maximizing the aesthetic effect of typography, layout, color scheme, etc without distracting from the content. In the back of my mind, I'm worried that I'm impossing a linear design on the inherently non-linear medium of the web. Of course, for non-linearity, look no further than link.everything at the top left of the page.
