Ruthie's tortilla dip recipe
Last night I was hanging out with Ruthie during a "study break" in her dorm. She made a really good, easy taco dip. Here09s the recipe:
- One jar of salsa
- One medium-sized stick of Velveeta
- One can of cream of mushroom soup
- One can of beer
Mix all the ingredients into in a pot. This is the worst part because the cream of mushroom and the beer together look like vomit. But do it anyway. Heat it while stirring until it's hot and mixed together (say, five minutes). Remove from heat and let thicken for a few minutes (say, five again). Use as dip for tortilla chips.
The beer is not optional. It tastes good. And when your guests ask if the dip has beer in it, say "Beer!? Of course not. Who puts beer in taco dip? Dude, you must seriously be alcoholic."
