Halftime is attack time

George Bush announced plans today to coincide our invasion of Iraq with the Super Bowl halftime show. Co-producer Carl Rockne, representing ABC Sports and the Pentagon, says,

"If you look at the facts, the Super Bowl is immensely popular, but the proposed war with Iraq is not. At the same time, televised bombing is immensely popular, but halftime shows are not. Put them together, and you've got serious potential."

It's a joke, people. I'm going to go get a life.
