Good and Bad

Warm weather has enraptured Chicago once again, seducing students to believe that they might actually get work done while basking in the Quads.

Good things about the warm weather include:
(1) Iced coffee. Iced coffee is inconceivably good, especially black iced coffee with a shot of espresso, a personal concoction I call "Mr. Bitterness". Mm, good.
(2) Flip-flops that cost $3 and make a cool sound when I walk.
(3) The feeling of warm humid air on your skin after being in an air-conditioned building. It reminds me of the beach, and I take a deep breath half expecting to smell salty air.

Bad things include:
(1) Falsely thinking you could do your 100+ pages of reading outside, then begrudgingly going inside. (Aside: any book with 0ˆ8hermeneutics0ˆ9 in the title, such as Passage to Modernity: An Essay in the Hermeneutics of Nature and Culture, by Louis Dupr0—5, is really boring.)
