I was just chatting with Evelyn on AIM Express. From the hilariously frustrating transcript below, you’ll see that AIM Express sometimes drops messages.
Note also that AIM Express doesn’t let you select text, so I made this huge image instead.

In domestic violence counseling that’s called “crazymaking.” It’s when an abusive spouse does stuff like hide the groceries or throw away bills in order to make the abused spouse believe that he or she is going crazy. I think you’d best hightail it to a crisis center.

hi, yea i kno i do not like how it does not let u change ur font and how when u put one of these (”), it spells it out. And how when u do have a buddy profile, it says u dont!

if you look at the times between the IMs they’re too close together, either 1 they both type extreamly fast, or he had a covo with himself to make this point and simply neglected to add in the things he didn’t want to show, like the three times the money was sent

i wish badly that aimexpress would let us have a font, color, and and info and buddy icon!!! because i have had it!! i need an info bad!!!!!! so will you just put a stinkin info on there so us kids can have all these things just like on regular aim!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s so fucking unfair when i’m talkin 2 my frndz and they ask “So don’t u luv my new icon” and I have 2 reply “I don’t c a damn thing!” When I’m mad or w/e all i can do is capitalize the letters! Aim express is a fucking rip-off! No wonder it’s free!!

Hey, wtf?? Is there any way to get the old AIM?? I’m kind of comp illiterate, but I loveD AIM and my boss went and deleted it from my comp!! When I went to go and re-install it AIM express popped up and I was like wtf?? I hate, hate, hate it! Why would they ever take away user info?? That just makes no sense to me at all….SOMEONE HELP!!!!

It’s stupid because it is, but it’s ALSO rockin’ because you can use it around most firewalls. So don’t diss it too badly; it has it’s uses!

ITS AIM EXPRESS! Its not suppose to be all that great. It just so when youre on the go, you can still talk to people without having to dl it onto that computer. Download one of the normal aim programs if you hate aim express so much. o.0. Like AIM+ or DeadAIM…or just…AIM…

Aim is kinda well it sux…It dosent let u c other pplz icons,rite in color or connect to talk!!!…..I hate this!!…And i ahve tried to sign on aim atleast 2 million times and it says the aim service can not b reached i mean wtf!!

I HATE AIM EXPRESS…i mean why cant they make one for people who cant download that is just like the regular one…if i could i would..but i dont know how…..THEY TREAT US LIKE CRAP BECAUSE WE CAN’T DOWNLOAD THE COOL VERSION……i mean you cant do anything except talk to people on aim express…i strongly dislike it

OMG AIM EXPRESS. it sucks. i hate it. u have no buddy profile, it doesnt keep ur text, when u close the window it doesnt keep the conversation, u have 2 go alllll the way 2 aim.com then click on a crapload of links just to get there, sometimes it shuts down on you, and overall, it just sucks. we people are treated like a jar of dirt when it comes 2 IMing JUST because we cant download the extremely awesome version.
really makes u wonder if having an AIM account is worth all this time.

I use aim express just because i can’t download it, but sometimes when i get REALLY frustrated i just go to www.meebo.com and use the aim there. its not as great as regular aim, u cant make a profile either, but u can at least look at ur frndz pros and away messages. and plus, you CAN make have a buddy icon on aim express. sometimes it doesnt show it but if u refresh the window it works again. to get a buddy icon just when ur talking to someone at the bottom of the window click on “expressions” and when it shows ur icon click “change”. then u can choose ur icon.
i also agree with felisha, but i also know that many people have to use aim express because they have no other choice becuase they cant download it.
