On peanut butter

I think the peanut butter bender I’ve been on the past few months is waning. I’ve eaten one big jar of peanut butter per week for since January. Last night, as I ate peanut butter by the spoonful while surfing weblogs, I thought, “Peanut butter doesn’t taste as good as it used to.” (Sometimes my thoughts have dangling prepositions.)

Anyway, I just thought you’d like to know.

haha. I really got into peanut butter back in January too - some primal instinct associating nuts with winter. I got some tubs of Jif at costco and ate it pretty regularly cause so delicious and cheap, and I’m tired of it too. I once read that peanut butter was a cult (literally) favorite in the 70s as all that fat and protein encouraged mind control. BTW, nice graphic on left.

Ha! I see you aren’t so uppity-up are you, Mr. Fancy-schmansh-pants weblogger? Dangling participles! SOMETIMES!

*this is half-joking of course but the juxtaposition between bourgesois and bumpkin - aka peanut butter per week per day - is something to consider.*

it’s good to know i’m not the only one who eats peanut butter while surfing weblogs. however i don’t think i’ve ever doubted the goodness of peanut butter.
