The ladies of Uncle Sam
My roommate Brian is in Vienna for the quarter, and last weekend traveled to Prague. He sent me a picture of an ad for Uncle Sam’s Sportwear in Prague. According to Czech perceptions, Uncle Sam is the Mac Daddy.
Brian also reports that beer is a measly 20 Czech crowns ($0.70), and adroitly observes that “alcohol and women are legal at a much younger age in Europe than America”. I interpret that to mean that he’s having a good time.

Hell I’m so honored to be on your website, it’s nice to know i can affect so many lives… riiiight. but yea i thought the guys might get a kick out of that ad…and so many others, I’m thinking of putting together a picture gallery of the ads around here, there are so many great and blatantly sexual ads in Europe, i love it! :) One correction, the ad for Uncle Sam’s sportswear was up in Prague, where we went this past weekend.

and another thing, the beer was 20 Czech crowns (austria uses Euros and thus is part of the EU. Prague, in the Czech Republic, uses Czech crowns ~30 crowns = $1
