Back Home
Yesterday I returned home to Binghamton, NY for the summer. It’s so good to be home. I spent the afternoon gossiping with my sister and her friends. Then I watched the Lakers game and hit up the Spot diner with my friends.
Sufficient water pressure is an underrated nicety of being home. The water pressure in my Chicago apartment sucked. While showering, you’d have to press your body up against the wall to catch the drizzle coming out of the head, which would alternate every few minutes from burning hot to falsetto cold. Binghamton showers are additionally luxurious since my sister’s shampoo and body wash smell really good. I, however, smell like a fruit.

Is that a pun on the word fruit?

A double entendre, perhaps, with no offense intended towards homosexuals.

seemingly (based on this description) the new apartment has much better water pressure. (I’m ashamed you haven’t mentioned World Cup soccer at all since the opening match.)
