How can you possibly think that Arnold Schwarzenegger did well on the debate? He completely lacked any depth whatsoever! Further more,Arianna shrill? Why not Arnold rude? While I as a viewer would've liked very much to see follow-up interviews of all the candidates, all we got was more Arnold...Fox certainly doesn't have to worry about msnbc usurping "fair and balanced"...I was so annoyed I couldn't even get to sleep...

I have followed Chris Matthew's career, but think thatfollowing him will come to an end.

First of all, his coverage of the California recall was very biased toward Arnold Schwarzenegger, so much so that I no longer think of him as an objective commentator.

I am a 76 year old activist woman and maybe it would be well that he might take advantage of my life experiences and intelligence. Please, let your guests speak. You ask questions and then don't let them answer. I watched you interview Jesse Jackson and Jessie kept stuttering as he tried to answer your questions and you wouldn't let him have his say. You know a good interviewer has to ask a lot of questions, but he also has to listen and this is something you don't do.

I was not at all surprised to hear you admit you are more conservative than people think. Duh! surprise!!!!. It is so evident that I can't believe you can't see it. I have watched you metamorphize from a middle of the road commentator to a very conservative one which I think this is where you and I part company.

Sorry, as I think of you as a nice person, but perhaps a misguided one.

Mr. Matthews--
What the hell was friday night show about? Was that an infomercial for the matthews houshold. Matthews brand of what exactly? Who at msnbc approved that concept? Are you getting ready to run for something. Was there no other news worthy of coverage instead of the matthews books, career, family trips and values? what the hell is going on!
i am glad you life is going well but that hour of "public trust" could have been put to showing the actual news instead of selling us your book and your family's career. This is one regular viewer that will opt out of your show.

Mr. Gregory (the hair man) was brutal in his questioning of the White House re. Bush's military service. I just wonder if he is going to be just as brutal and disrespectful when he investigates Kerry's anti-war activities while his 'assessin' co-soldiers were still in the field. Or? Mr. Gregory won't even touch the subject? I bet not.

Chris: I admit I am a Republican, but confess I was enjoying your show for awhile, when I thought you were really being fair and down the middle. Lately, however you have changed and I guess because it is an election year. However, be careful accusing the President of AWOL, or his records being tampered with, as if you had caught John Gibson's show today, right before Nora was on with you, you would have heard and seen a man confirming he served with President Bush while in the National Guard. PLEASE BE CAREFUL YOU DON'T FALL INTO THE DEM'S TRAP.

Dear Mr. Matthews.
You keep wondering why it should matter or not to people if Bush served or did not serve full time in the National guards. The truth is it doesn't matter whether he served or not, What DOES matter however is that AGAIN Bush is lying. What DOES MATTER eventually is a question of character: lied about WMDs,lied about the connection between AlQuaeda and Iraq, lied about the budget, about this, lied about that... I know 'lied' is a strong word people don't like to use when it comes to the President, but do you know a better word for NOT TELLING the TRUTH? There comes a time when there are just TOO MANY lies and when the American people don't want to be taken for complete idiots! And then there are those 550 young kids who died in Iraq because they believed... That's why some of us who have a conscience won't be voting for Bush next time around!
