Free is good
During spring break, I spent an afternoon setting up new laptop computers in the U of C ‘technology classroom’. It consisted of installing a wireless base station, unpacking 20 Apple iBooks and 20 Dell Dimension laptops, and installing some software. I was making $10/hour, and playing with new computers is fun. Plus, I had nothing better to do that afternoon.
The campus Mac representative was quite appreciative, so he had the Apple people send me a free Apple polo shirt for my afternoon of “labor”. Even though I don’t like their computers, I like free stuff.
I don’t think I’ll wear it though, since I can’t imagine an occasion in which I would prefer to display an affinity to Apple.

Sell it on eBay or something. It’s amazing what the mac-possessed will buy for large amounts of cash.
