I believe that flip flops (or thongs, as they were called before the glory days of skimpy underwear) should be purchased whenever a person feels the need for cheap, comfortable and cool footwear. 86 degrees in Chicago qualifies for sure. As for the 3 good things and one bad thing, I COMPLETELY agree. Iced coffee, open toed shoes, and sucking down humid air after being inside are all great. And believe me, reading boring stuff gets much more interesting once you're done with school and reading it for pleasure. Not that I'd read anything like *that* for fun, but you get me.
