Sometimes, namely right now, I feel as though the University of Chicago is a giant thumb pushing on my head, forcing my brain to do all sorts of stuff. Usually, itÕs very stressing, this giant thumb pushing on my head, but its also very good. The process is often painful and discouraging, yet I’m always pleased with the end results. I’m glad my brain is being pushed and squeezed because it makes me a better person. It makes me more conscious of who I am. And that’s what really matters. Consciousness.
