Some other happy things that happened in my life recently:
Last night, the waitresses at What’s Your Beef told me, for the second time, that I’m really sweet and kind, and that I take the blame for way too much stuff. I don’t mind taking the blame though, because it rarely stresses me out, and [...]

I can’t stand being patronized at work (at What’s Your Beef, not Broome County Council of Churches). All I can think about is what an awesome intership I’m going to get next summer.
As Americans celebrated their freedoms yesterday, it is ironic that this article popped up at the BBC website.Apparently the French are investigating the US satellite surveillance system known as ECHELON. Remember in Enemy of the State where they talk about the 14 acres of computers under Fort Meade that recorded certain telephone conversations? [...]
Startupfailures.com - this site actually exists?
The square root of -1 is an awesome, funky flash site. Very immersive, very interesting. I found the link from the Astounding Website boards.
If you ever want to drive yourself insane, listen to this broadcast (RealAudio) from the Time Service Department of the US Navy.
Well, Mexico finally had a fair election and a peaceful change of power from the PRI to Vincente Fox, a former Coca-Cola executive. This election is a very historic event for Mexico and Latin America, as Fox promises economic and social reform.
